About the Project: James Burkart Associates, Inc. developed a comprehensive landscaping and site design project with Japanese garden influences. The design included a large variety of specimen evergreen trees and shrubs to anchor the design during winter skies. A gate in the courtyard wall lures you to the main entrance of the house. Once inside the courtyard, a truly oriental experience awaits all with water abounding and classical Japanese specimen plantings. Our firm was responsible for development of grading, drainage, entry courtyard, tea house, waterfalls, motor court, landscaping, irrigation and lighting design and construction drawings for this executive residence. Services included construction coordination and observation.
